This chart lists Indian sizes 1โ30 with approximate inch equivalents calculated from the millimetre measurements in Tanishq's current ring-size guide. Because brand charts can differ slightly, use the table as a reference and confirm the seller's sizing system before ordering.
Choose a ring that already fits the exact finger where the new ring will be worn. Place it flat on a ruler or, preferably, use a digital caliper. Measure from the inside edge to the opposite inside edge through the centre of the ring. Do not include the metal thickness.
For example, if the inner opening measures about 0.700 inches, the metric diameter is 17.78 mm. The converter compares that value to the Indian diameter references and returns the nearest size. Measuring the outside of the ring would make the result much too large.

Wrap a narrow non-stretch paper strip or flexible measuring tape around the base of the finger. Keep it comfortably snug, mark the point where the strip overlaps, then measure the strip from its end to the mark in inches. Repeat two or three times and use a consistent result.
Measure under normal conditions rather than when your hands are unusually cold, very hot, or swollen after exercise. If your knuckle is much wider than the base of the finger, choose a size that can pass over the knuckle but still feels secure at the wearing position.
